广州工业微生物检测中心是广州市科技局属下的具有独立事业法人（第三方）检测服务机构。中心于1998年通过了广东省计量认证(CMA)，并于2003年通过了中国合格评定认可委员会实验室认可(CNAS)。本中心出具的检测数据在亚太实验室认可合作组织（APLAC）和国际实验室认可合作组织（ILAC）内相互认可，广泛应用于贸易出证、产品质量评价、成果鉴定作为公正数据，具有法律效力。
